On Your Weight Loss Journey – Key Concepts to Consider

Losing body fat is a daunting task for most individuals these days. The struggle is real. Women seem to have an even harder time dropping the pounds and fitting into that one size down.

There is always that next promising weight loss strategy on the market. Sometimes it is a pharmaceutical and sometimes it is a Soylent Green shake program. Then the full story is revealed years down the line of lies, deceit, and manipulated statistics. Opportunists are nothing new. The tactics are often the same as well. They take advantage of people desperate to find a solution to their expanding waists, hips, and thighs.

I want to remove as much confusion as possible for people dealing with this epidemic. My hope is that something that I mention here in this blog post resonates with your situation and helps you find a new path to your weight loss goals.

Enzymes are proteins that speed up a chemical reaction. There are different enzymes situated throughout the body. When we digest our food, enzymes are required. However, not many people realize that if the food retains some enzyme power, then our bodies do not have to divert resources into producing as many digestive enzymes. When the pancreas, for example, must continually overproduce enzymes to support the digestion of enzyme-less food, then that gland can begin to swell which may be why pancreatic cancer is on the rise. This may have some connection to the other function of the pancreas which is blood sugar control.

Pseudo-hibernation – When a mammal resorts to hibernation through the rough winter, it slows its metabolic processes to almost a standstill. This even allows it to recirculate the minimal waste products such as urea to be reused. I do not know who coined the term pseudo-hibernation, but it does seem to be occurring in many modern humans these days. In this scenario, metabolism has been dialed back significantly. However, there is not much catabolism occurring since food continues to be consumed regularly. This means more electrons without uncoupling or a final acceptor ending in water production and ATP synthesis. In layman’s terms, there is no losing body weight the way a hibernating animal will.

Fish Out of Water – We are a communal species. Being part of a tribe was essential to our survival for most of our species’ existence. In the wild, blood loss was one of the major concerns, so our physiology learned to conserve water and electrolytes when under stress. It does not delineate between physical and psychological trauma since they were linked in the past. Nowadays, we deal with more psychological and emotional trauma which can result in the kidneys restricting urine outflow until the conflict is handled or downgraded. You may not be able to lose weight because your body does not feel safe enough to release those dams. If you notice swelling in certain areas, this may pertain to you.

Fear Disgust Conflict – In GNM, this relates to the alpha islet cells of the pancreas which release glucagon. During the conflict, glucagon does not release adequately resulting in hypoglycemia. Then the craving for sweets arises which is often insatiable. The excessive food consumption results in weight gain. The traumas associated with this biological special program are often easier to recognize since they are imbedded in the memory, but not always. Hypoglycemia always precedes type-2 diabetes in this biological special program.

Reverse Krebs = Biosynthesis

Things grow as they lose energy – Think of a dying star. It becomes a red giant as it begins to burn out.

At a younger age, and in the ideal scenario, both energy production and biosynthesis can proceed simultaneously. The Kreb’s cycle, aka TCA cycle, governs whether the body builds molecules or breaks them down. Nick Lane explains this process in his book Transformer, where the Kreb’s cycle can go in reverse when certain substrates accumulate to a determinate level. I never learned about this in my high school biology classes. Without getting into the specifics, when the cell already has excessive downstream substrates, it will switch to anabolic mode. This means more body fat in many cases since mitochondria will export things like citrate to make fatty acids.

Increasing body fat in preparation for winter is a survival strategy that serves to preserve us and our species.  Now we are inundated with food without struggle and deprived of natural frequencies, especially sunlight. Maybe all we need to do is add work back into to the system before we can indulge in those magnificent flavor sensations

Red & NIR light stimulate better electron flow. They impact Cytochrome C Oxidase. These wavelengths are present whenever the sun is out. Many of the molecules in your body are responding to natural light including melanin, hemoglobin, melatonin, cholesterol, & Cytochrome C Oxidase which ensures increased metabolic activity. These wavelengths also help to restructure the water inside your body which means better overall function.

Taste/Content Mismatch – Glucose transport shuts down if the tastebuds and stomach receive different information. Then the brain receives conflicting feedback, so the conductor of your internal orchestra cannot keep everyone harmonized. Blood sugar remains elevated since the body is unsure of what just came in. Digestive enzymes, mentioned earlier, do not release appropriately. There are not enough raw materials for your biochemistry to proceed efficiently. Now, you feel fatigued, and your body goes into storage mode. This is why diet soda is worse that the regular sugary explosions.

DO NOT FORGET:

  1. Get more natural light. We are light beings. Everything in existence responds to light. The microbes and mitochondria in your cells are no different.

  2. Move your body. We are not designed to be sedentary. Learn about natural movement. Play around with movement. Have fun moving in nature. This could be as simple as skipping down the sidewalk, climbing a tree (safety first), or swimming in a natural body of water.

  3. Eat to nourish yourself. Short-term fasting or deprivation dieting can be valuable at certain times, but most of your life should be about nourishing your body and your loved ones.

  4. Prioritize sleep.

  5. Hug your family. Hug your friends.

  6. Balance intense exercise with adequate rest.

  7. Remember to live life. Whatever that means to you. You have a purpose. Make sure that you enjoy your time on this planet.
