Individuals can accomplish certain tasks better than others. If your neighbor can build a table better than you, and they are willing to help you out, then it makes sense to outsource that job to them while you focus on other tasks. You can then offer to help someone else with a task that you excel at. Now that is the civilized human existence at its best.
With that said, our ancestors retained a multitude of skills to keep themselves and their family alive. Otherwise, they were eliminated from the gene pool. They did not have descendants. Their surnames vanished from historical records.
The Industrial Revolution changed all that. Having each person assigned to one station on the assembly line meant better efficiency for those at the top of the ladder. People flocked to the growing cities under the false pretense that a better life awaited them. Now, specialization was the thing. The craftsmen and frontiersmen were now experts and specialists in one trade. There is the saying, “experts know more and more, about less and less.”
Many men went from jacks-of-all-trades to plain jackasses.
Outsourcing most tasks to others puts you in a precarious predicament. You lose sovereignty. It makes you more reliant on a system. Freedom naturally begins to fade as your survival depends on market stability, supply chains, and economic logistics. Now you need Big Brother.
We outsource education to a system designed for obedience, we outsource food production to corporations focused solely on profit margin, & we outsource our thinking to pundits, influencers, & experts. We even outsource our health & wellbeing to the medical mafia, aka allopathic physicians. The mob was great at creating a problem and then offering the solution at the same time where they would profit. It is great when you can create a market out of thin air. That is what the medical mafia often does. They use unsubstantiated science to conjure up fear and then notify the public of a super effective solution to those fears. Where would we be without their fruitless, arduous work?
There was a time when the doctor/patient relationship remained intimate. Your doctor came to the home. He knew you since birth. He understood you on a deeper level which allowed him to modify his treatment better. He practiced general medicine, which was not always effective, but there was a level of trust. His income was also extremely modest, and he did not have to deal with a middleman for compensation for services rendered. It was a different era.
The more sovereignty you retain and the more resilient you become; the more joy will permeate your life.
As doctors, we are teachers first. As physicians, we are meant to manage patient care through natural science and natural medicine. I want to disseminate knowledge to a receptive audience so that they can be confident in matters of health and wellness without the immediate reaction of running to a medical practitioner for assistance. Forget what you have been told, the human body is super resilient. Your body holds a magnificent capacity for healing itself. Even those unfortunate souls born with an inherited disease have the blueprint and resources within their cells to heal. Although that healing may look different than what we expect or desire.
Most doctors are regurgitating information from misinformed peers, outdated sources, or manipulated research. Not to mention textbooks written by the pharmaceutical companies themselves.
Once you can gradually remove the fear implanted into your subconscious mind, then you can take the next steps toward repossessing your health & medical freedom from the system. Then you can build upon that by learning basic home remedies, first aid, nourishing recipes, sleep hygiene, light optimization, breathwork, & natural movement. It does not need to be complicated to be effective. Implement the foundational steps to enjoying a healthy, fulfilled life. Then sprinkle on the wellness toppings periodically for an extra boost.
There is a time and place to outsource your health. Outsourcing is not a bad thing. However, you are the one responsible for your wellbeing. People that love you, those in your inner circle, should have prominent roles in your wellbeing as well. Slowly develop the skills & knowledge for health optimization, whatever that means for your life. A healthy life must include joy, purpose, meaning, & fulfillment. Indulging in “unhealthy” behaviors from time to time does not condemn you to hell. It is actually healthy to be unhealthy in certain respects. Being neurotic about health is counterproductive.
I consider myself lucky to have the VA as a true form of health insurance. I do not use the VA system for general medicine, checkups, or screenings. I only utilize urgent care and ER when I deem it necessary. I wish that everyone could have a safety net like this without being involved in The Health Insurance scam of this country. Insurance is meant to cover catastrophic events, not routine doctor’s visits. Having that middleman dictate your care is a very poor form of outsourcing in my opinion. The insurance company will never be incentivized or truly concerned about your wellbeing.
The first wealth is health – Ralph Waldo Emerson
When in doubt, follow the money.
When in doubt, do as your ancestors did.
When in doubt, use your intuition.
Your body is designed to heal itself. We have been told a bunch of lies about how easily our bodies can be overrun by viruses, parasites, & cancer. I remember when I was afraid of the Boogeyman. As an adult, it seems ridiculous to believe in such a monster. I did not realize that I had exchanged that monster for a new monster called germs. I had never seen a germ; they were too small to visualize. Well, at least that’s what I was told. I was duped. And that misconception lead me to outsourcing my health to those experts who knew how to keep me safe from those pesky germs.
Never again. Now, I help people find their medical freedom & health sovereignty.
